Sutivan is a lovely village with a beautiful old town center, old palm trees and a very relaxed atmosphere. Certainly my favourite place on the island. There is no hotel (!) but a lot of places to rent. The village is as quiet as it is beautiful - still a bit of a hidden gem in the Split area. Beachlife is not spectacular and there´s better beaches in other places. That said, it´s still a good place to swim. The apartment is a VERY good deal. It comprises 3 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and a rather spacious rooftop terrace. There´s also a nice view of the church. Be aware of the church bells - in places right in the core of the center, the bells might wake you up in the middle of the night. This apartment is a bit further up yet just a 3-5 minutes walk to the sea and the little harbour. I would highly recommend staying here. There´s also usually a nice breeze in the apartment.

Kwatera ta jest nie aktualna. Gospodarz oferuje inną kwaterę na parterze.... Właśnie wróciłem z Sutivan'u . Kwaterę tą zamieszkują obecnie (według opisu gospodarza) ludzie wynajmujący tam na stałe (Chorwaci) Kwaterę oglądałem - jest zagrzybiona. Skorzystałem z zamiany i mieszkałem gdzie indziej... Nie polecam!
A small docile town on the island of Brač with a Mediterranean atmosphere, beautiful pebble beaches and a calm background intersected with numerous roads, and which is only 7 km away from the ferry port of Supetar. Several cultural monuments and various events as well as sports facilities make it a good choice for sports and cultural tourism and an active holiday.
Each year in July, the world famous Extreme Sports Festival “Vanka regule” is held here as are football and “boccie” bowling tournaments. The historical core of Sutivan is a protected area, and Sutivan Nature Park is an excellent excursion site, suitable for rest and entertainment for both young and old (visits to the zoo, playgrounds for recreation and relaxation by a fountain with an excellent gastronomic offer).
The island of Brač is the highest and third largest island in the Adriatic Sea. The island is well known for its quality stone used to build many palaces. This is the island with the only stone mason school in Croatia.
